About Me
I have lived in the beautiful county of Shropshire for nearly a quarter of a century. I am fortunate to live in the middle of nowhere, our cottage on the hillside – a few acres, some happy hens, our cats and, of course, my little flock of Black Lincoln Longwool sheep.
I did not always live in such a glorious place. I grew up in a town on the south coast of England, but I never felt I belonged there. My passion was always for the countryside, animals, particularly farm animals. And I loved to make things, always wanted to be a maker.
I’ve had some interesting jobs, not related to the countryside or to making. But making was always at the back of my mind.

I’ve enjoyed bringing this to the forefront and delving into the intricacies of sheep wool. I have discovered the amazing variety of different breeds of sheep, the lovely textures and colours of their wool. No two breeds of sheep have same fleece, and no two fleeces (even from the same breed) are the same. I learned to peg loom and also to make felted fleece rugs, and this has brought together my twin passions – sheep and making!
I sell my items at craft fairs, but of course I take commissions too. Do get in touch to talk about what you’d like via email, or contact me via my Facebook page.
I love what I do, I’m lucky enough to be living the dream. I love to share my work with people at craft fairs, and to celebrate this amazing product, sheep’s wool – I greatly appreciate the many enthusiastic and complimentary comments I receive. Being a maker and working with wool has become my passion.

My Flock
All of my little flock are rare breed Black Lincoln Longwools. They are much cherished and will spend the whole of their lives on our holding.
